A team from Texas A&M has revealed a touch screen that they have been working on for years. Actually its not a screen at all, its like an empty picture frame with lined LEDs and criss crossed beams of infrared light. The infrared lights react when a beam is broken or movement is detected, it then mirrors what you do on whatever you have this plugged to.

How I Organize my Computer

I have a external drive in which i store all my things. They are categorized between pics, music, homework and more. They are then organized by owner or types of files.

Bikes are beautiful and elegant usually making them the target of thefts. Sometimes you have to carry a large ugly chain made of various sizes to lock your bike. The TiGr is a prototype lock meant to look cool and keep your bike safe. The TiGr is a long, flexible titanium bow with a steel lock, its either .75 or 1.25 wide and long enough to lock both wheels.

Before planes used to be piloted and pushed to their limits, but now planes don't even need pilots. The Navy's new X-47B can be moved with a few simple mouse clicks. It runs on 3.4 billion lines of software code, and the rest is run by a few mouse clicks. A click to turn on the engines, a click to takeoff, and etc.

The SpaceX private space company has been announcing their latest achievement. Their biggest creation yet is the Falcon Heavy Rocket, a launch vehicle with 117,000 pounds of cargo space. SpaceX has a deal with NASA to resupply the international space station.

Miklós Zrínyi of Semmelweiss University in Budapest, Hungary has created a new type of gel that can move on its own with magnetism. The gels can swim and walk and are planned to be appllied to robots and used as artificial muscles.

Iceland is thinking of making the largest undersea cable so that they can use and sell geothermal energy. If this works they can provide energy for 1.25 million homes. The cable could be between 745 and 1180 miles long. This will help Iceland's economy recover from the worldwide economic fall.

The Navy has developed a new prototype laser, its intended use is to shoot down enemy UAS before they aquire any information. Lately its been breaking many records, their ultimate goal is to build a laser that goes through 2000 feet of stell per second. The laser works by making making electrons move freel y in a chamber compressing it then suddenly realeasing it.

Water skiing is a thing of the past with the first water powered jet pack. The jet pack will cost $99,500 and will be on sale in March. It can produce 430 pounds of thrust and you can reach about 22 mph. The jet pack allows you to get up to 30ft into the air. The controls are two handles that adjust the water pressure for complete and precise control.

My Weekend

This weekend was a bit crazy. Saturday I went to the mall but yesterday was the craziest game of basketball I had in a while. Orlowski, Porteous, Joanides, Romano, Demitri, Maher, Anthony, George, and I were playing basketball in front of my house from about 5:00 to 6:30.
It was a crazy and funny game, but I still dont remeber what was going on.

AT&T had the iphone for sale across the United States except for Montana, Wyoming, North and South Dakota. Starting Thursday Verizon will sell the iphone in all the states. This confirms that there will not be anymore deadspots in the United States.
